| With its clean, green foliage, this lovely Polemonium is the perfect accent for hostas. It forms a mound of green, fern-like foliage from spring into summer with deep purple highlights. The foliage grows about 1' tall and is topped by loose clusters of lightly fragrant blue flowers in late spring. This easy-to-grow perennial looks great in the middle to the front of the flower border. It easily mixes with most other garden plants. Though most Polemoniums prefer afternoon shade, 'Heaven Scent' seems to be able to take a bit more sun than the others as long as a good supply of moisture is available. |
